Medical & Legal translation/interpretation

I have a great deal of professional experience translating and interpreting for Copala Triqui speakers in both medical and legal situations. I am comfortable providing services in hospitals, courtrooms, prisons/jails, and education settings.

I frequently collaborate on projects with linguists, such as creating pedagogical materials for children.

In addition, I work regularly as a consultant for the Field Methods course at the University at Albany, SUNY. I help undergraduate and graduate students translate and transcribe Copala Triqui phrases they elicit from me into English and Spanish.

I am a founder and active member of Triquis sin Fronteras UAlbany, a professional, educational, and cultural community organization that promotes Copala Triqui culture and language. I work with both members of Triquis sin Fronteras and the University at Albany to create connections and to provide services for members of the Copala Triqui community. English and Spanish.
